Our Family
Darlene and I were Houseparents in a Children’s Home in Valparaiso Indiana around 1980. We had our three Girls, plus we had 6 girls in our Foster home. The children’s home was located on a 500 Acre Farm. We created a summer work program for the 53 children in the home during the summer. On the Campus was an old barn, Completely full of trash. We took the children and during that summer – we cleaned out the barn. Painted it Barn Red with Silver roof. We installed fences and Gates, sectioned off some gates, and installed a chicken coop inside the Barn. from that summer the Foster Children and raised 200 chicks at a time. We had a Farmer who gave us two sows, so from there we had many piglets. It was such a great experience for children that came from very difficult home lives. We had Chickens, Pigs, Rabbits, Goat, and two Calves.

We have been doing Mission work all our lives, Helping establish churches and helping Children in the countries of Ghana, West Africa, and Guyana, South America.
Central Ohio School for Preachers and Teachers
Completed a two-year Program in the evenings after work.
International School of Evangelism
Darlene and I completed this Two Year Full-Time Program. Days consisted of Studying the Bible 8 hours a day, then 2-3 hours of homework every night.
First Mission Trip to Ghana
Part of Our Circuculium was to get experience in Mission Fields. Our Trip was 3 Weeks, 1 1/2 Weeks in Ghana West Africa, then 1 1/2 Weeks in Birmingham England.

Darlene and I and our Girls served as Foster Parents to 6 other foster girls needing a Christian Home.
Mission Trip Est Church Yendi – Ghana
On this trip we had a small mission team and went to Yendi, Ghana South Africa
Deacon – Evangelism
Helped in my home congregation serving as their Evangelism Deacon. Started a Program Called CIA ( Christians in Action ) that worked very well in mobilizing our congregation to reach out.
Mission Trip to Guyana
On our First Trip, we accompanied an experienced missionary our first Trip. from then on has been 40 Years in love with Missions – Focusing mostly on Guyana
